Barbara Boerigter
Art came late into Barbara's life. She earned
her BFA at Concordia University in Montreal
after finishing her first career in the foreign
service. With her husband she moved to
Washington State from Washington DC in 1994.
Originally a literal thinker, and quite
traditional, Barb says that her recent work has
become more lateral and thought provoking. Her
media is varied, and she lets the idea lead her
where she goes with her art work. She wants
people to look at her art and let the work add
a new dimension to the viewer's awareness.
