Carol Eichler works in multiple mediums to create unique, often non-representational, art.  She likes to work with found objects and is especially fond of mixing textiles and paint resulting in unusual, dramatic pieces.

Her goal is to stop the viewer in their tracks to take in the colors, shapes and contours.  She wants the viewer to find interesting places to pause and take in the terrain of the piece.

Carol has been painting since her retirement and relocation to Sequim from the Seattle area in 1998.  She has exhibited at the Sequim Arts annual juried exhibitions and the annual member show and at the Joyce (Washington) annual art fair where she won a first place award in the mixed media category.  Other exhibitions include The Gallery at the Fifth and Hurricane Coffee Company in Sequim and the Clallam County Fair Fine Art Exhibition.  She is a member of the Northwest Collage Society, a member of Sequim Arts and a member of the Blue Whole Gallery, an artist's cooperative."
