Art has been a part of my life since I can remember. My parents nurtured my artistic talents from a very young age and fed my desire with a never-ending supply of pens, paints, and paper. Art remained a constant throughout my scholastic career, culminating in an Associate Degree in Fine Art.

Portraits and the human figure have always fascinated me. My influences include John Singer Sargent, whose portraits and use of brush stroke are amazing, and Alphonse Mucha who painted incredible women during the Art Nouveau movement.

For the last few years I continued to work with figures and portraits and to refine my style which I fear may be a continuous process! I would like to continue painting portraits and am interested in taking commissions. Although I would love to paint people from real life I don't have the space. Right now the portraits I paint are from photographs. My paintings have sold here on the Peninsula and all over the United States and Canada.
