Born and raised
in Wisconsin, Deborah has been drawing
and painting all her life. Her earliest
lessons came from Carlson’s Guide to
Landscape Painting and Edgar Payne’s
Composition of Outdoor Painting.
Deborah has also done freelance
commercial artwork for Dryden Press,
which is part of Holt, Dryden &
Saunders, in Chicago, IL. She continued
to enhance her knowledge and skills by
taking workshops with master artists,
Robert Hoffman, Gay Faukenberry, Ken
Auster, Scott Burdick and Scott
Christensen. Deborah is also an artist
member of the Palette and Chisel Club
in Chicago. She has exhibited in the
Midwest and her work is in numerous
private collections.
Deborah recently received “Peoples
Choice” at the “Small Expressions IV “
exhibit presented by
Northwind Arts Center.
