Using his artistic ability and creative sense in a commercial environment, George operated his own screen printing business for 30 years. Upon retiring, his wife, Janet, enrolled him in watercolor classes at the Scottsdale Artists' School and subsequently he has studied with a number of accomplished artists in the US, Canada and abroad. George's work is displayed at the Blue Whole Gallery in Sequim, Washington. His originals are included in private and public collections throughout the country and his art has been recognized in both local and international water media events. George is a juried member of Arizona Watercolor Association, past juried member of Arizona Artists Guild, and a member of Sequim Arts.
